IKONIK Creative Artisan is committed to protecting the privacy of its website users. This privacy policy describes the data we collect, why we collect it and how we process it, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU Regulation 2016/679).

We only collect data that you voluntarily submit through the contact form:
- First and last name
- Company name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Message / project description
No data is collected automatically. We do not use any tracking, behavioral analysis or targeted advertising tools.
3. Purpose of Processing
The data collected is used exclusively to:
- Respond to your contact request
- Discuss your creative project
- Send you a quote or commercial proposal
4. Legal Basis
The processing of your data is based on your consent (Article 6.1.a of the GDPR), expressed by voluntarily submitting the contact form.
5. Data Recipients
Your data is only accessible to:
- Johann Langenberg et Louka Langenberg, co-founders of IKONIK
- Netlify, Inc. (host and form manager) — data processed in accordance with their privacy policy
No data is shared with third parties, resold or used for advertising purposes.
6. Data Retention
Data from the contact form is retained for a maximum of 12 months from the last interaction, then deleted. In the event of an established business relationship, data may be retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and up to 3 years after its end, in accordance with legal obligations.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access — obtain confirmation that your data is being processed and receive a copy
- Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure — request deletion of your data
- Right to restriction — request limitation of processing of your data
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, readable format
- Right to object — object to the processing of your data
- Right to withdraw consent — withdraw your consent at any time

The IKONIK website uses only essential technical cookies:
- Language preference (sessionStorage) — remembers your language choice (FR/EN) during the browsing session. This cookie is strictly necessary for site operation and does not require consent under CNIL guidelines.
8.2 Cookies Not Used
The IKONIK website uses none of the following:
- Advertising or targeting cookies
- Tracking or analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.)
- Social media cookies
- Third-party cookies of any kind
8.3 Future Changes
If non-essential cookies are added in the future, your explicit consent will be requested before their use, in accordance with CNIL directives and the GDPR.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorized access. The site is hosted on secure servers with SSL/TLS certificate (HTTPS).
10. International Transfers
Our host Netlify, Inc. may process data on servers located in the United States. This transfer is governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR.
11. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. In the event of a substantial change, the update date will be revised at the top of this page.
